Make way for the Ginger Jesus!
In the past few years of his career, Ed Sheeran has become one of the household names in terms of heartfelt love songs. And while he’s given us anthems such as ‘Thinking Out Loud’, ‘Photograph’ and ‘Perfect’, there are still quite a few hidden gems underneath his pile of popular love songs.
With this coming Valentine’s Day, we’ve decided to come up with a list of some of Ed Sheeran’s underrated songs to pump up your valentines fever and make you more kilig.
Cold Coffee (Songs I Wrote with Amy)
Anyone who’s been in an love/hate and long term relationship can relate to this track. Ed sharing his personal experiences with such is guaranteed to make anyone smile.
Where We Land (Songs I Wrote with Amy)
In this song, Ed covers the sentiment of giving a relationship a try (in spite of lingering feelings of uncertainty) just to see what happens.
Sofa (Loose Change EP)
Do you know the feeling of being so content with someone that simply cuddling with them on the sofa is enough to make your day? This is that song in a nutshell.
Shirtsleeves (Multilply X)
This one’s a personal fave, simply because Ed spits the truth about relationships: It’s not always all rainbows and butterflies.
Hearts Don’t Break Around Here (Divide ÷)
Personally, I definitely like to say that this track is one of the sweetest songs in Ed’s entire discography. It’s just so amazingly romantic and honest, in a way only he can.
