Bad news kids: Ely Buendia has seemingly slashed our hopes for an Eraserheads reunion for good.
The legendary frontman’s latest tweet disproved a video which supposedly shows him jamming with his former bandmates in preparation for a set for the upcoming UAAP Finals matchup between his alma mater University of the Philippines and its on-court rival, Ateneo.

The rock icons of the 90’s surprised their fans after Raymund Marasigan posted a 30- second clip of the band reuniting and jamming ahead of the highly-anticipated Game 2 showdown of the UP Fighting Maroons and the Ateneo Blue Eagles in the UAAP Finals.

This video started speculations that we might just witness yet again an Eraserheads reunion as a tribute to their alma mater, University of the Philippines, who reached the Finals after 32 years.
The idea of a reunion first surfaced after a photo was reposted by band’sands lead guitarist, Marcus Adoro, urging the band to perform at the UAAP finals halftime.
