Only a few days into 2019 and K-Pop is already making history
Blackpink just became the first-ever, all-female Korean act to perform at Coachella after the famed music and arts festival announced its star-studded lineup for 2019.
The girl group joins Childish Gambino, DJ Snake, and the 1975 as the headliners for the April 12 & 19 leg of the event.
Joining Blackpink is fellow South Korean act Hyukoh, as well as other icons such as Tame Impala, Khalid, Zedd, Kid Cudi and of course, Ariana Grande.
Epik High previously made history as the first K-pop group to appear at Coachella when they performed back in 2016.
Coachella will be held at Indio, California from April 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, and 21 (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays).
